The official website of the Taiwan Association of Family Medicine (www.tafm.org.tw) went through a comprehensive overhaul in August 2015, introducing thereafter a series of new features (RSS, RWD, etc.) while keeping enriching website contents and updating its English version. As of January 2020, the number of visitors to the TAFM official website marched beyond the milestone of 10 million, the highest among all medical associations and societies in Taiwan. Google Analytics was used to track the TAFM website traffic with in-depth analysis directed to related traffic data and statistics during the one-year period from January 1 to December 31 of 2019.

Thanks to the vigorous assistance of the Department of Family Medicine at Taipei Veterans General Hospital, we are able to come up with a comprehensive picture of essential TAFM website traffic statistics as follows: during the aforementioned one-year period, the total number of TAFM website visitors read 169,203 with a daily average of 464 visitors. A total of 1,707,057 pages were viewed with the daily average estimated to be 4,677 pages. Most of the visitors (117,748 or 66.7%) accessed TAFM website through search engines, and mobile devices ranked as the leading equipment (used by 84,139 visitors or 49.26% of all visitors). Visitors to TAFM website came from all over the world with Taiwanese netizens forming the largest group (158,459 or 93.39% of all visitors), followed respectively by those from the United States (2.84%) and Hong Kong (1.04%).
