WONCA Asia Pacific held its first physical regional conference since the COVID outbreak in Bali, Indonesia from December 5~7. A TAFM delegation team attended the conference, led by President Shinn-Jang Hwang in person.

In the regional council meeting on the first day of the APR Conference, representatives of member organizations and members of WONCA APR executive committee gathered to elect the next regional president through electronic voting.

With an impressive campaign speech delineating his past experiences and future visions, TAFM Director Brian Chang won the election with a solid majority to become the WONCA APR regional president-elect, scheduled to officially assume the office in 2023. Our heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Brain Chang for being a pride not only of TAFM but also of Taiwan!
