From July 9 to 13, 2026, Prof. Viviana Martinez-Bianchi, President of the World Organization of Family Doctors (WONCA), visited Taiwan at the invitation of the Taiwan Association of Family Medicine (TAFM) to participate in TAFM's 40th Anniversary activities and 2026 Annual Conference. Her visit coincided with Typhoon Babi, which caused significant disruption and led to the cancellation of all Annual Conference activities scheduled for July 11. Despite these challenges, TAFM and the host teams quickly adjusted the program, allowing meaningful professional and cultural exchanges to continue.
